Vexus Fiber making Wichita Falls a ‘gigacity’ with fast Internet

Vexus Fiber is celebrating the grand opening of its retail store at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Parker Square and is making Wichita Falls a “gigacity” with highspeed Internet, according to company representatives.

The company is offering residential and commercial Internet, video and telephone services, Veronica Fuentes, marketing coordinator, said in an email.

“We are proud to bring a 100% fiber optic network with superior infrastructure to the area,” Fuentes said.

The retail store, officially open Tuesday, is at 2912 Garnett Avenue in Parker Square.

“We feel it’s a great and convenient location to serve our customers and showcase our service offerings,” Fuentes said.

Vexus Fiber expects fiberoptic cable construction in Wichita Falls to continue for the next two years to expand the network. The company is building out 100% pure fiber connections directly to homes and businesses.
